Jennifer Lynne began sewing when she was a tot, and bought her first
dress form at age 15. "I taught myself to drape and made clothes for my
friends before I knew how to do it correctly," she says. After
graduating with a degree in Fashion Design, with a specialization in
Intimate Apparel, from New York's Fashion Institute of Technology in
1999, Lynne spent several years designing for private clients and
photoshoots, and then launched her label Porcelynne in 2003 when she
moved to San Francisco.
Her latest collection covers new ground, employing a sleek denim rayon
for gauchos, jackets and corsets, and silky knits for comfy hoodies and
layered circle skirts. Her eminently wearable boyshorts and camisoles
have always been top sellers, and Lynne experiments with new materials
this time around, adding flirty ruffles for a cute, sexy look.
