Make beautiful home decor out of those beautiful memories. In this workshop, we'll turn bridesmaids and prom dresses into throw pillows. Depending on your taste, your pillowcases can be tasteful and elegant, or simply hilarious. Crafters of all skill levels are welcome!

Mild-mannered educational consultant by day, crafter by night, Corey Newhouse has been sewing, dyeing, and hotgluing since her Grandma Dotty showed her how to make a dress for her teddy bear when she was 9. Corey makes regular stuff with a twist, whether martial arts-themed snowglobes, skirts made from pillowcases, or pillowcases made from skirts. Corey is the winner of the Winter 2006 ReadyMade Magazine MacGyver Challenge.
