Declining to define herself as "designer", Domini embraces a more practical approach to the creation of clothing. Her unique philosophy can be traced back to a phrase from a history of western civilization:

"great architecture is a perfect marriage of function and form. And thus the genesis of her job description "clothing architect".

Domini eschews the typical seasonal drafting out a clothing line, that would then be manufactured in volume in order to be foisted upon the populace as "trendy". Instead, Domini has defined a career working entirely with an eclectic group of individual clients -- incorporating their needs, their movement patterns, and (most significantly) their personalities into custom-built wardrobes. Each garment builds upon the specific requirements of the patron's particular body/site. Once this foundation is in place, Domini then incorporates the art and beauty that expresses the essence (or soul) of what is contained within the wearer's physical form.
