In this workshop I will show you how to transform
those tiny pieces of leftover and seemingly unusable
fabric scraps into one of a kind clutch bags and
purses. Bring your imagination and let it run wild!
BIO
After volunteering at the first Swap-o-rama-rama in 2006, I was awakened to an idea already lingering in my creative mind. Realizing that the used clothing I was already purchasing could be more than it was. Pants could be a shirt, a shirt could be a skirt, a skirt could be a vest, or all of them together could be a dress... the door was open, the possibilities endless and limitless.
And the more I create, and the more I connect, the more possibilities I realize. Now it seems there is nothing unusable on this planet. It can all be made into something... Ultimately saving it from the landfills and hopefully in the future we will see consumerism change, from massed
produced to re-used, reconstructed and revitalized.
Pauline Rose Design is all about re-use and re-design. Inspiration comes from all aspects of life, but my favorite ideas are derrived from vintage styles and classic lines. My material are at least 80% reclaimed and I am working harder each day to get that number as close to 100% as I can.
